Intro to Training

Heyy, welcome to UCDTC!! We are so glad you’re here!

We train Tuesday 8 - 10 pm and Thursday 5 - 7 pm every week during term, so make sure to join in if you want to have a bounce! We welcome new members at any time throughout the year, so don’t be afraid to drop in!

Our trainings are super fun and we have lots of enthusiastic qualified coaches who will be able to help you learn new moves and skills on an individual basis. No matter if you have never been on a trampoline before or if you are an Olympic athlete, we can take it from there.

All you need to bring to training is yourself, comfy clothes (e.g. t-shirt and shorts or leggings, but please avoid zippers or buttons) and some water.

We run additional competitive trainings to prepare for competitions against other university clubs. If you are interested in joining these, please come talk to us once you have been to a few of our sessions.

Can’t wait to see you at training!! Remember, the sooner you sign up, the more bouncing you can do. So what are you waiting for?

Also make sure to check out our instagram for out of term training times and newest updates.

Intro to Competitions

Competitions at UCD Trampoline club are some of the biggest and most fun events that happen throughout the year. They are opportunities for individuals of all skill levels to come together and support each other while having fun. Not only do we have UCD only In-House competitions, but a majority of competitions also will be with other clubs, both from Ireland and internationally! In fact, we even get the opportunity to go abroad to the UK to attend one of the biggest European student competitions. Competitions are truly the best way to meet new people and make unexpected friends that will last a lifetime. Most small competitions are one day events (Saturdays or Sundays), with a social night, but some of the bigger ones can be up to 3 days long, with 4 social events (typically from Thursday night -> Sunday). The best thing about competitions is that they are for ALL skill levels, abilities and backgrounds. From novice to elite pro, old to young, all genders.

Competitions are genuinely some of the most exciting and entertaining events you can attend, with an incredible night out afterwards to celebrate. Please do not be intimidated or discouraged by the name, they are as serious as you would like them to be, and provide an excellent way to gauge your progression whilst having fun.

I hope you all have an amazing year. Much love as always from your 2023/2024 competitions officer. I can’t wait to see everyone next year :))

Intro to Partying with the Tramps

During Covid

Socials in UCDTC are ones never to be forgotten! Not alone do we party in Ireland with our other Irish clubs for nights such as Tramp Night, we also travel abroad to competitions such as SSTO to party with other clubs from around Britain & Europe! All of our nights out will have themes, this year alone  we’ve had graffiti night, sparkle & glitter & Halloween themed. Many of our nights out will also have secret challenges!!

However our fun is not just limited to nights on the town here in UCDTC! We do several events throughout the year from Dragons Den to impromptu talent shows. We even have themed bounces such as your Ugliest Outfit Bounce or Movember Bounce. Here at UCDTC we’ve mastered not only how to bounce but how to party too !
